Our Doctors

Dr. Jessica Carrillo
I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, but I left sunny Arizona for a cooler climate in Minnesota, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. I came back to my home state to attend Midwestern University and graduated with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.
Prior to vet school, I volunteered and worked at animal shelters and began working as a technician during my time at Midwestern. My interests lie in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, pain management, and some exotic medicine as well. I love working to improve the quality of life for our patients and helping to strengthen the human-animal bond.
In my free time, I hang out with my two fur babies; a long-haired Chihuahua named Jimmy Chew, who enjoys nice morning walks and being a couch potato, and Momo; a rabbit who is slowly trying to win over my Chihuahua, but is mostly failing. I also enjoy reading a good book or relaxing on the couch while watching reruns of Friends, or any mystery or comedy shows. I am not the most artistic, but I still enjoy dabbling in different DIY projects that either come out terribly wrong or surprisingly well!

Dr. Amanda Liesse
I have spent the majority of my life in the Chicago suburbs. I attended Iowa State University for my undergraduate work and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. I worked for three years at a busy small animal veterinary hospital in Crystal Lake, Illinois before relocating to Phoenix. I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but take a special interest in communicating with clients and helping to build the human-animal bond.
My hobbies include biking, hiking and spending quality time with my dogs: two Australian shepherds (Izzy and Cooper). I’m proud to be a part of the AZPetVet and Las Sendas families, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.

Dr. Megan Tuttle
Although I was born in Boulder, CO, I’ve lived in Arizona for most of my life. I received my Bachelor of Science at the University of Arizona in 2004 (Go Wildcats!) and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in May of 2008. During my time in Colorado, I realized I missed Arizona and wanted to return to the valley to practice veterinary medicine. My professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery.
In my spare time, I enjoy Triathlon, watching live music, and traveling with my husband, Andrew and our two children Beckett and Mayla. Our 4 legged family includes a Border Collie mix (Dixie), a scruffy Terrier (Sophie), and a feisty orange tabby named Flash. I look forward to caring for your four-legged family soon!

Dr. Madeline Beebe
I grew up here in Phoenix, AZ, and attended the University of Central Florida, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016 with Honors and a minor in Anthropology. For veterinary school, I attended Colorado State University, where I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine as a part of the class of 2020. I’ve done a lot of volunteering at animal rescues and worked as a technician at several small animal and exotic practices. I’ve also spent some time working with zoo veterinarians both in Florida and Colorado. I am very passionate about internal medicine and hospice care. I enjoy orthopedics, pain relief, and dermatology immensely. My favorite parts of being a vet are learning new things every day from the passionate people around me and being around people from all walks of life.
At home, I have a little python named Theodore and a blind and deaf rescue dog named Maisie. I love reading anything at all, hiking, and crafting at home. When we can, my husband and I love to travel.
